Location

The land port is situated at Sonahat border of the Banga Sonahat union under Bhruangamari upazila.

Short description

In 2013, this port was introduced in Bhirangamari Zero Point area for import and export of goods by land, along with India, Assam and Nepal.
Coal, timber, timber, stone, cement, China clay, ball clay, quartz, chemical fertilizer, cosmetic material, animal feed, different kinds of fruits, onions, garlic, ginger, rice, pulses, etc. from India, Assam and Nepal, Import of wheat, various types of seeds, tobacco data etc. are imported. Hilsa fish, melamine made from Bangladesh and some items including medicines are exported from Bangladesh.
